Black glasses shielded his eyes, a lit cigar adorned between his full lips. A crooked smile rested on his face.
The man was ready.
The young woman stood in her delicates, standing tall in red stilettoes. And a blindfold covering her eyes.
The woman was not ready.
He snapped his fingers and her blindfolds were off. So were his glasses. He gazed into her emerald eyes, and she into his black marbles. Never once did she look away. His smile widened and it was a done deal.
Sold to the highest bidder, she shivered for the unknown.
The gambler put his glasses back on.
