I asked you that, do you remember? And what did you do? You hung your head, crying and begging for forgiveness. I would have John, I really would have forgiven you. My heart, my poor, foolish heart, would have taken you back and would have loved you the very same but it wasn't your first mistake.
I have lost count, John, but my body haven't.
I have enough scars on my body and my soul to remind me why I should choose myself over you. So, after a long night of getting blissfully drunk, I ask you again,
"Why, John? Why should I take you back?"
